Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan`s visit to the republic`s South-East border

From July 23 to 24 Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan visited the South-East border of the Republic of Armenia. At combat posts situated at the Armenian-Azerbaijani borderthe Minister was briefed on the combat readiness and psychological state of service members performing combat duties and checked tthe reliability of defense and engineering constructions on posts.

Defence Minister also visited newly built defence facilities and was briefed on construction activities on the military bases. Seyran Ohanyan held a working meeting with the local military leadership issued them with tasks and established the timetable of implementation. After several private meetings with commissioned officers and service members of combat posts the Defence Minister noted with satisfaction about positive trends in improving physical and morale protection, social welfare of service members, and living and hygiene conditions in the barracks due to intensive construction activities on the bases.
