During the meeting the parties discussed matters related to bilateral cooperation, the activities of the ICRC in border regions, as well as the issue of prisoners of war. In particular, First Deputy Minister of Defence called on the representatives of the ICRC to be more actively engaged in the issue surrounding Hakob Injighulyan, the Armenian citizen currently being held prisoner in Azerbaijan and to visit the latter on a more regular basis. Mr David Tonoyan highly valued the efforts made by Mr Lorenzo Caraffi during his time in office and wished the newly appointed Head of the Delegation success in her new mission.
