RA Defense Ministry delegation’s visit to Georgia

On February 6, delegation, led by the Republic of Armenia’s First Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan, was on a working visit in Georgia.

With many officials within the delegation, First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Lieutenant General Enrico Apriamov was also within the delegation. During the visit, the delegation met with the senior leadership of Georgia’s Defense Ministry. Particularly, during the meeting with the First Deputy Defense Minister of Georgia, Levan Dolidze, the parties examined the current issues of bilateral military cooperation and the prospects of its development as well as exchanged views on regional security issues. Armenia’s high-level MOD delegation also had a meeting with the Minister of Defense of Georgia, Irakli Alasania. On the evening of the same day, delegation, led by the Republic of Armenia’s First Deputy Defense Minister, attended the ceremonious reception at the Armenian Embassy, marking the 21st anniversary of Armenia’s Armed Forces.
