They carried out an inspection in the 14th mechanized infantry brigade of the 9th army corps of the 3rd field army of Turkey (Kars) and 5th border regiment of the 1st motorized infantry brigade (Igdir). The inspection group held briefings with the commanders of the above mentioned military units on military tasks, trainings and general issues within the scope of the provisions of CFE. During the inspection, they specified geographical coordinates and schemes announced by the military units, checked the number of equipment and arms limited by the treaty (tanks, armored fighting vehicles, artillery) and monitored borders of military units. The inspection didn`t register any violations of the provisions of the treaty.
