Seyran Ohanayn congratulated Colonel Stimpson on assuming his new position and expressed hope that he will personally contribute to the further development of the Armenian-American security cooperation. Jeffrey Stimpson expressed his gratitude for the reception and highly appreciated the current level of cooperation and assured that the recorded success will be continuous. At the meeting the US Ambassador John Heffern and Seyran Ohanyan also referred to issues of regional security and other aspects of bilateral defense cooperation of mutual interest.
