At the beginning of the meeting Seyran Ohanyan congratulated the newly appointed military attaché on assuming her new position and wished her success. Seyran Ohanyan noted that the current warm and friendly relations between Armenia and France in political, cultural and economic sectors demand a parallel development of bilateral cooperation in the defense sector. Henri Reynaud reaffirmed the willingness of the French side to develop Armenian-French bilateral cooperation in the defense sector noting that France is ready to support Armenia in its educational reforms underway in the Armed Forces. At the meeting they also referred to the bilateral cooperation and issues regarding the regional security.
