On August 22, Davit Tonoyan, ARM First Deputy Defense Minister hosted William Lahue. At the meeting they referred to issues like Armenian-NATO cooperation and its prospective, NATO support in the defense reforms underway in the ARM Armed Forces, as well as issues of regional security. NATO Liaison Officer in South Caucasus also visited the Peacekeeping Brigade and “Humanitarian Demining and Expertise Center” SNCO and learned about the progress recorded by Armenia in peacekeeping operations and military interoperability.
