On July 23, Davit Tonoyan, ARM First Deputy Defense Minister met Valeria Fabbroni, the Head of Operations of Swiss Foundation for Mine Action.

At the meeting they discussed issues regarding the planned mine clearance of mine contaminate areas in Armenia. Ruben Araqelyan, the Head of the “Humanitarian Demining and Expertise Center” SNCO was also present at the meeting and expressed his willingness to cooperate with the Swiss Foundation and contribute to the development and implementation of the program.
