The Visit of the Advisory Group of US and UK Experts

The advisory group of US and UK experts providing assistance on reforms in Human Resources Management system of the ARM Armed Forces were in Armenia from July 8-14 on a regular visit.

The aim of the visit was to meet with corresponding departments of the ARM Defense Ministry and hold consultations regarding the development of the professional non-commissioned officers corps in the Armed Forces. At the meeting they particularly discussed the prudent use of the financial and other resources for the development of the system. The international experts were introduced to work carried out by the Armenian side and presented the advanced foreign expertise concerning the development of the professional non-commissioned officers corps system. The advisory group visited the Non Commissioned Officers School of the Ministry of Defense and the training center of Armavir getting familiarized with training processes. Outcomes of the visit were summed up during the meeting with the ARM First Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan. Along with findings regarding the development of the professional non-commissioned officers corps system in Armenia, the sides outlined the prospective of the future cooperation in this sector.
