On June 19, the delegation headed by the Chief of General Staff of the ARM Armed Forces Yuri Khachaturov participated in the Annual Strategic Military Partnership Conference of NATO, subtitled Current and Future Challenges, in the Croatian capital of Zagreb.

At the meeting they discussed issues regarding the cooperation among NATO member and partner states and the development of their defense capacities. A special attention was given to the improvement of the cooperation in the fields of educational programs and training. They also discussed the strategic consequences of Chicago Summit of NATO as well as issues regarding stability and security in Middle East, North Africa, and Persian Gulf.
