Defense Ministry delegation`s visit to Brussels

On April 2-3 a delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia David Tonoyan paid a visit to the capital of Belgium, Brussels. The aim of the visit was to attend the NATO Political and Partnerships Committee (PPC) meeting at the NATO headquarters in the format of 28+Armenia.

The main subject of the meeting was Armenia`s progress within the scope of the Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan and Planning and Review Process in 2012. The discussions also touched upon reforms in a number of areas, including peacekeeping, military education, human resource management, protection of human rights, etc. The Armenian Delegation also briefed the delegates of the North Atlantic Alliance member states about the current stage of ``Integrity Building in the defense sector of the Republic of Armenia`` project implementation.
