On May 31, ARM First Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan hosted the delegation headed by OSCE Chairman-in-Office Special Representative for Protracted Conflicts, Ambassador Padraig Murphy.

Upon Ambassador’s request the Armenian side presented approaches of the defense agency regarding efforts put for strengthening confidence-building, development mechanisms for investigation of incidents, and cessation of sniper fire. Davit Tonoyan drew the guest’s attention to regular violations of the ceasefire by the Azerbaijani side and highlighted that the Armenian army carries out Armenia’s commitments assumed in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement process within its competence.
