The rotation process of 5 Armenian mentors serving with Operational Mentor and Liaison Team (OMLT) NATO-ISAF has begun On May 21.

Armenian mentors will undergo a pre-deployment training with multinational OMLT staff in Training Center of Germany on May 21, and in July they will replace those who have been serving in Afghanistan since January. The assignment of OMLT is to train the Afghan National Army officers. This program is carried out within the general strategy of NATO in Afghanistan and its objective is to ensure the transfer of security responsibilities to Afghan authorities.
