Consultation in the Ministry of Defense

Consultations between the senior management and the interagency working group for the preparation of CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force “Cooepration-2012” joint military exercise that will be hosted by Armenia were held on April 20 in the Ministry of Defense with the participation of ARM National Security Service, the Police, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and other agencies’ representatives.

Participants discussed issues of "Cooperation-2012" joint military exercise organization, harmonization of interoperability between interested governmental agencies, transportation of CSTO countries’ participants, deployment of troops in Armenia, protocol issues management, etc. The working group was urged by the Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan to provide effective and timely implementation of military exercise preparation and conduction tasks.
