The recently-established position and the appointment of the military attaché of Armenia to France aim to enhance Armenian-French cooperation in the defense area. Lieutenant Colonel Garegin Margaryan is a graduate of the Military Institute of RA MoD by V. Sargsyan and the Military Academy of MoD in Russia. He has been serving in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia since 1998. G. Margaryan is married, with two children.
