On July 20, the senior staff of ARM Defense Ministry and General Staff of Armed forces headed by ARM Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan visited Erablur Pantheon to pay tribute to the national hero Jivan Abrahamyan. A spiritual ceremony has been carried out bythe spiritual leader of ARM Defense Ministry bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan.

Afterwards a memorable event followed in Komitas Chamber Music Hall in which many of his combat friends, relatives and soldiers from the ministry took part. 1st commander of special regiment Sergey Araqelyan and "Special regiment veterans union" NGO chairman, General-Lieutenant Gurgen Melqonyan have spoken about the achievements of hero in the battlefield. Jivan Abrahamyan’s mother, Bavakan Abrahamyan mentioned in her speech that she is proud of giving birth to a national hero and being a mother of a son, for whom homeland is above everything else. In her speech she particularly said "Thank you for remembering our national heroes, who passed away on behalf of abetter future of our nation and our country. Glory to our soldiers". Talking about the Artsakh war and the national hero Jivan Abrahamyan’s contribution, ARM Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan particularly said: "Armenian nation has been very close to the profession of soldier throughout its history, it has always fought and struggled for its survival. Many devotees of our nation are endowed with commander skills. Jivan Abrahamyan was one of them. Jivan was a warrior of the notion. We are proud of having such a combat friend, the sample of whom is educational for the younger generation and especially for our soldiers. I think that the work of Jivan Abrahamyan and all other heroes work has been completely carried out, the best result of their work is the Armenian Army, which by defending our borders insures the security our nation and its further development. Everlasting glory to Jivan Abrahamyan and his parents. I express my gratitude to all, thanks to whom Artsakh war was crowned with victory. We must preserve the achievements obtained at the expanse of our martyrs".
