French Ambassador Bernard Fassier introduced his successor, Jacques Faureto Seyran Ohanyan who congratulated the latter and wished him success and effective tenure. During the meeting the co-chairs presented the negotiation process of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to ARM Defense Minister and emphasized the importance of maintaining the ceasefire regime. At the same time they mentioned that incidents taking place on the contact line reveal the need of effective international mechanisms to carry out investigations. ARM Defense Minister portrayed the situation on the contact line noting that provocations of Azerbaijani snipers jeopardize the efforts of Minsk Group co-chairs to create an atmosphere of mutual trust.
