The first board meeting of the Humanitarian Demining and Expertise Center SNCO was held on May 21 with the participation of the board members like Ara Nazaryan, ARM deputy minister of defense, Aram Orbelyan, ARM deputy Minister of Justice, Artashes Bakhshyan, ARM deputy minister of Territorial Administration. ARM deputy minister of defense was elected as the chairman of the board.

During the session the head of the "Humanitarian Demining and Expertise Center" Ruben Arakelyan made a report on current activities and future plans of the organization. They discussed issues concerning the "National Mine Clearance Program" and the development of mine clearing operation standards, mapping of the mined territories, and cooperation with the international donor organizations.
