Մայիսյան եռատոնի կապակցությամբ ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը մայիսի 9-ին այցելել է Թալին, հանդիպել հայրենական պատերազմի վետերանների, արցախյան պատերազմի մասնակիցների և զոհված ազատամարտիկների հարազատների հետ:

With regards to the three-day May holidays, on 09 May, 2011 ARM Minister of Defence Seyran Ohanyan visited Talin and met the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, participants of the Artsakh War, and the relatives of fallen freedom fighters. Minister of Defence visited the newly opened Hall of Fame of Talin, where one can see photos and written records of heroes of Talin, who participated in the Great Patriotic and Artsakh wars. The veterans of the Great Patriotic and Artsakh wars shared their memories with the Minister, as well as expressed their viewpoints on defending the Motherland. Talking about the military plan for freeing Shushi, Seyran Ohanyan stated, that the ancient Armenian castle-town was freed with the highest standards of military science. Particularly, the Minister stated, “Your courage was reflected in our modern history. My peers, brought up by the examples of your heroisms, hurried to the battlefield, ensuring the freedom of our people.”
