The participants were representatives from military educational institutions from Defense Ministry and General Staff of the Armed Forces. They discussed issues regarding human rights in the Armed Forces and legal awareness of soldiers, and then presented the work carried out in the sector. They emphasized the effectiveness of the current year and the steps taken toward the implementation of human rights course in educational programs of the Armed Forces. They also mentioned the effective cooperation between the ARM Defense Ministry and Human Rights Defender`s Office toward human rights protection in the Armed Forces. The commanders of all units were ordered to take appropriate steps under their jurisdiction to raise the awareness of human rights in the Armed Forces.
