On April 27, ARM Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received the deputy-secretary of the Russian Federation National Security Council Yuri Zubakov. They discussed issues concerning Armenian-Russian military cooperation and regional security.

Seyran Ohanyan and Yuri Zubakov noted with satisfaction that Armenia and Russia cooperate effectivley in the defense sphere as in the framework of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) as well as in the bilateral format, stating that the Armenian-Russian strategic and military-technical cooperation could greatly contribute to the strengthening of the stability and security in the region.
