ARM first deputy minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan received the advisor to the Director for International Relations of the International Trust Fund Iztok Hočevar, regional representative Luca Bahini and the Head of Yerevan Office of International Organization for Migration (IOM) Ilona Ter-Minasyan.

The Objective of The International Trust Fund representatives’ visit to Armenia is to develop the cooperation with the ARM Defense Ministry in the sphere of Humanitarian Demining. During the meeting they discussed the strategy of demining in the mined areas of Armenia and issues concerning the development of the national procedures of demining operations. Mr. Hočevar has informed that the International Trust Fund is ready to start a close cooperation and provide technical and professional assistance to the newly formed "Humanitarian and Expertise Centre", state-non commercial organization.
