On April 13, ARM defense minister received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Armenia Tengiz Sharmanashvili.

Seyran Ohanian has congratulated the Tengiz Sharmanashvili of his new diplomatic mission and expressed hope that his appointment to the position will boost the development of the Georgian-Armenian military cooperation. During the meeting they discussed issues concerning the Armenian-Georgian military cooperation. Emphasizing the importance of the cooperation development in the defense field with Georgia, the defense minister said that it can contribute to stability and security in the region.
