On October 7, 2008 the welcome ceremony of the return of the last shift of Armenian 12th peacekeeping military group in Iraq in “Zvartnots” airport took place.

The deputy head of general staff of Armed forces major-general A.Paytyan and other high rank officers participated in the ceremony. The RA peacekeeping mission accomplishing group which consist of 46 military men in Iraq was under supervision of the Polish center-south multinational division.
