Suren Papikyan received the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the Republic of Armenia
21 August, 2026 21:27On August 21, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic to the Republic of Armenia, Christos Sofianopoulos, the Defence Attaché, Brigadier General Christos Arseniou, who is completing his mission in Armenia, and the newly appointed Defence Attaché, Colonel Vasileios Tzouvaras.
Suren Papikyan thanked Brigadier General Christos Arseniou for his great contribution to the development of cooperation between Armenia and Greece in the defence sector.
The Minister emphasized the recent achievements within the framework of cooperation, wishing the Brigadier General success in his future activities.
At the same time, the Minister of Defence, Suren Papikyan, congratulated the newly appointed Defence Attaché, Colonel Tzouvaras, and wished him success.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister awarded Brigadier General Christos Arseniou with the Medal for Military Cooperation.
