On November 28, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Armenia Amal Afifi.

Minister Papikyan congratulated the Ambassador on assuming her new position and wished her success.

During the meeting, the prospects for Armenia-Egypt cooperation in the defence sector were discussed.

The parties also exchanged views on a range of regional and international security issues.
