Suren Papikyan met with the U.S. Under Secretary of War for Policy
15 October, 2025 23:00On October 15, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan met with the U.S. Under Secretary of War for Policy Elbridge Colby at the Pentagon.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America, Narek Mkrtchyan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues related to the current state of the Armenia-U.S. defense cooperation, as well as to the initiation of long-term, institutional programs in that framework.
They reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the defense partnership, highlighting the important role of the United States in fostering stable and lasting security in the region.
The interlocutors also addressed various issues related to the implementation of joint initiatives in the fields of military education and defense reforms.
