On May 20, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, held a tête-à-tête meeting with the Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of the IRI, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh. This was followed by a meeting involving the extended delegations.

The Ministers highly commended the level of cooperation between Armenia and Iran in the defence sector. Issues related to the course of cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran were discussed.

The interlocutors also addressed a number of issues related to regional and international security.
