The Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia met with the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Bulgaria
5 June, 2024 17:55In the framework of his working visit to the Republic of Bulgaria, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, met with the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Bulgaria Atanas Zapryanov. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Bulgaria, Armen Yedigarian, was also present at the meeting.
The discussions focused on issues related to Armenia-Bulgaria cooperation in the field of defence and the possibilities of cooperation in the military-technical domain.
Additionally, the meeting addressed issues concerning multilateral cooperation within the framework of NATO and the EU, as well as regional security.
Minister Papikyan provided an overview of the reforms being implemented in the Armenian Armed Forces, outlining their progress and objectives.
