28 May, 2024 13:22During his working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, held a meeting with the Vice-Prime Minister of Belgium, David Clarinval, on May 28th.
During the meeting, issues related to the potential cooperation between Armenia and Belgium in the defence sector were discussed.
Minister Papikyan outlined the ongoing reforms in the Armenian Armed Forces, detailing their objectives and progress, as well as the project of the Government of the Republic of Armenia “The Crossroad of Peace”.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed cooperation within NATO and the EU, along with broader discussions on regional security in multilateral contexts.
