On March 1, in the course of the working visit to the MoD N military unit Minister of Defence Suren Papikyan shared a meal with conscripts, heard their opinion and proposals concerning the food.
Minister Papikyan had a talk with the soldiers about the organization process of military service, combat duty and rear support.
Suren Papikyan presented the changes related to the uniform of the Armed Forces personnel to the servicemen. The head of the defence department assured that the uniform, which is presently being designed will differ in quality and national elements in the insignias.
Afterwards, RA Minister of Defence Suren Papikyan, accompanied by the commanders of Army Corps and military units, visited RA southeastern border zone, combat positions, talked with the conscripts on combat duty, as well as the commanders.
Suren Papikyan paid special attention to the building and engineering works of strongholds, trenches, observation posts, combat positions and accommodation conditions.
The Minister of Defence gave instructions to the commanders to give additional vacation to the best servicemen during the combat duty.
