Events dedicated to the 125th birth anniversary of the famous Armenian military commander, twice Hero of the USSR, Marshal Hovhannes Baghramyan were held in Yerevan, in particular, a tribute to the marshal monument on Baghramyan Avenue, the opening of a memorial plaque dedicated to Baghramyan at the entrance to the office of the public organization "Association of Veterans of the Republic of Armenia", as well as an exhibition at the Museum of Military History of the Ministry of Defence "Mother Armenia".
Within the framework of the events dedicated to the 125th birth anniversary of Hovhannes Baghramyan, in the evening Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received Ivan Baghramyan, marshal’s grandson, who visited the Republic of Armenia, and awarded him with a departmental medal.
