Chip Laitinen congratulated Edward Asryan on his assumption of the position of Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, wished him efficient and fruitful work.

During the meeting, issues related to Armenian-American military cooperation in the fields of military medicine, peacekeeping and military education were discussed.

At the request of Chip Leitinen and Gregory Pipes, the Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces presented the operational situation and the latest developments in the Armenian-Azerbaijani border zone, the Lachin Corridor and Artsakh.
