The 29th anniversary of the formation of the Department of Moral and Psychological Support of the Armed Forces was celebrated in the administrative complex of the RA Ministry of Defence.

On July 29, 1993, by order of the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, the Department of Work with the Servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia was formed, which in 2019 was renamed the Department of Moral and Psychological Support of the Armed Forces. The Board was formed during the difficult days of the first Artsakh War and had its role in the formation and development of the Armenian army. Today, too, the Department of Moral and Psychological Support of the Armed Forces continues to fulfill its important mission, contributing to the formation of military personnel with a stable value system, faithful to regulatory relations, endowed with high moral qualities.

On the occasion of the formation anniversary, the head of the Department of Morale and Psychological Support of the RA Armed Forces, Colonel S. Stepanyan congratulated the servicemen, wished them strength of spirit and determination to face existing difficulties. By the order of the Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, a number of officers of the department were encouraged with certificates of honor.
