On July 15, as a result of an accident that happened in the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defence, the head of the medical center, contract soldier, junior sergeant Kristine Mikhail Chichyan (born in 1985) was injured and hospitalized. Despite the efforts of doctors, Kristine Chichyan died on July 16. An investigation is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia shares the heavy sorrow of the loss and expresses support to the family members, relatives and fellow servicemen of Kristine Chichiyan.
