The event was attended by RA Deputy Defence Minister Arman Sargsyan, Chairmen of the NA Standing Committees on Defence and Security, Labor and Social Issues, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Issues, senior military officials, representatives of other government departments, a number of public and international organizations.

Congratulating the employees of the subdivision on their professional holiday, Arman Sargsyan highly appreciated the role of the department in solving the social problems of the servicemen, emphasizing, in particular, the large-scale work carried out during the 44-day war.

Alexander Avetisyan, Head of the General Department of Health, Social Protection and Veteran Affairs of the Ministry of Defence, presented the main functions of the social protection sphere and the upcoming tasks.

On the occasion of the holiday, a number of employees of the subdivision were awarded with symbolic gifts.
