The event was attended by representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Defence, servicemen of military aviation military units.

Congratulating the aviation servicemen on their professional holiday, the Defence Minister stressed the importance of the role of military aviation in the combat capability of the army, in particular, in the protection of air borders.  Touching upon the 30-year path of the military aviation of the Armed Forces, Suren Papikyan highly appreciated the contribution of aviation servicemen to the defence of the country both during the first Artsakh war and the  44-day war.

At the end of the solemn event, a number of outstanding servicemen of the military aviation forces were awarded departmental medals, certificates of honor and valuable gifts by the Minister of Defence and Acting Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
