Touching upon the Armenia-Kansas military cooperation, the parties stressed with satisfaction that effective measures are being taken in the spheres of peacekeeping, military education, military medicine and others. The Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia highlighted the importance of the continuous support of the US Government, in particular, the Kansas National Guard, to the reforms of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.

The interlocutors also discussed a number of issues related to regional security. The head of the Defence Department presented the military-political and security situation in the region, views were exchanged on strengthening peace and stability in the current geopolitical situation.
