During the meeting, the process of the second stage of the "Human Rights and Women in the Armenian Armed Forces" program and issues related to its implementation were discussed.

The RA Minister of Defence praised the work so far done in the framework of Armenia-CoE cooperation in raising awareness in the Armed Forces, protection of human rights, including the rights of female servicemen, strengthening the effectiveness of legal processes in military affairs, development and continuity of military education, development of personnel skills and abilities. Suren Papikyan stressed the continuity of the "Human Rights and Women in the Armenian Armed Forces" program, expressed the readiness of the Armenian side for further development of cooperation.
