During the meeting, the Minister of Defence briefed the US Ambassador on the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the situation in Nagorno Karabakh, as well as on the humanitarian issues, emphasizing the need for their immediate solution.

The parties also discussed current issues and prospects of Armenian-American defence cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the international security situation and military-political developments.
