Suren Papikyan visited V. Sargsyan Military University

On February 10, RA Minister of Defence Suren Papikyan visited V. Sargsyan Military University. The Minister toured the area of the military educational institution, got acquainted with the supply of professional classrooms with educational and technical facilities, barracks and canteen conditions.

At the Command and Staff Faculty, Suren Papikyan met with the senior officers continuing their studies, listened to their views and suggestions on the issues of military education, and answered the questions raised. The Minister of Defence assured that based on the comprehensive analysis on 44-day war, it is necessary to significantly review the attitude and approaches to military education, and that serious reforms are expected in this area as well. At the end of the visit, the head of the Defence Department paid tribute to the memory of the university students who died during the hostilities.
