The statement spread by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan that on January 27 the subdivisions of the RA Armed Forces opened fire on the Azerbaijani military positions located in the north-eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is misinformation.
In fact, on January 27, at around 22:00, in the mentioned part of the border, several irregular shots were fired by the Azerbaijani side, to which the Armenian subdivisions did not respond.
