On the eve of the Army Day, a Republican wish was served in Etchmiadzin

On January 27 on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the formation of the RA Armed Forces, under the leadership of the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II, a Republican wish service was served in the Church of St. Astvatsatsin in Etchmiadzin.

The servicemen participating in the ceremony, the members of the Mother See and the chaplains of the Spiritual Leadership of the RA Armed Forces offered a joint prayer to God for the peace of Armenia, Artsakh and the victorious march of the Armenian Army.

Afterwards, a reception was held in the ceremonial hall of the Georgian Theological Seminary, during which the Catholicos of All Armenians awarded a number of high-ranking servicemen with the high honorary Order of St. Nerses Shnorhali of the Armenian Church for their services to the Motherland.

By the order of the RA Minister of Defense, a number of clergymen were awarded departmental medals for their significant contribution to the spiritual and patriotic education of servicemen.
