Athletes-servicemen were hosted in the administrative complex of the RA Ministry of Defence

On January 7, in the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defence, the athletes-servicemen of the RA Armed Forces, who took part in the 2021 World Military Championship in wrestling and boxing, representatives of sports and coaches, were hosted.

According to the results of the 2021 World Military Championship in wrestling (Tehran) and in boxing (Moscow) in general, Armenian athletes won 3 gold, 4 silver and 8 bronze medals. In addition, the Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling teams took the 3rd place in the team competition and were awarded cups.

Congratulating the athletes-servicemen and their coaches, the RA Deputy Minister of Defence Arman Sargsyan thanked them for keeping the honor of the Republic of Armenia and the RA Armed Forces high in the international arena. The athletes who won prizes and sports coaches were rewarded with departmental medals and certificates.
