On December 31, 2021, at about 10:50 am, at one of the military bases of military unit N of the RA Ministry of Defence, located in the Vayots Dzor region, a conscript of the same military unit Movses Aramais Tadevosyan (born in 2003) was found with a gunshot wound to the head. Private Tadevosyan died on the way to the hospital.
As a result of the operative actions carried out in connection with the incident, a colleague of the killed serviceman was arrested on suspicion of committing the mentioned crime. An investigation is underway to fully find out the circumstances of the incident.
The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia shares the grief of the loss and expresses support to Movses Tadevosyan's family members, relatives and colleagues.
