On November 10, some Azerbaijani media disseminated information that a fight allegedly took place between Armenian and Azerbaijani servicemen in the area of Lake Sev in the RA Syunik region, and that a group of Armenian servicemen was surrounded.

Later, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence joined this disinformation, stating that 60 Armenian servicemen were surrounded, and only with the mediation of the Russian side they were released.

The statement of the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry is open misinformation. Moreover, after the actions of the Armenian Armed Forces subdivisions following the provocation of the Azerbaijani side in the territory of the lake Sev, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces turned to the Russian side with a request to resolve the situation, and it was thanks to the active work of the Russian side that the situation was stabilized.

The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia confirms that the situation on the territory of Lake Sev is under the full control of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
