Service and participation in combat operations

1988 - 1990 - Served in USSR Armed Forces.

1990 - 1993 - Participated in the self-defence of Armenia in Saro’s detachment in Ijevan.

1993 - 1998 - Served in Military Unit 51191 as Deputy Battalion Commander/ Regiment Deputy Chief of Staff /Assistant Head of Intelligence/deputy heads of Intelligence and commander of regiment.

1994 - Was seriously wounded of a mine explosion while performing a combat mission.
