Ambassador Fukushima congratulated the Minister of Defence on assuming the post and wished him success.

Issues related to regional security were discussed during the meeting. The Minister of Defence presented the challenges in the security sphere of Armenia, especially after the end of the hostilities in Artsakh.

The possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the field of defence and perspective directions were also discussed.
