On September 13, 2021, a delegation headed by the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Arshak Karapetyan will take part in monitoring the active phase of the joint strategic exercise of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus "Zapad-2021", which will be held at the Mulino military training ground in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.

Then, on September 15-16, the delegation headed by the RA Minister of Defence will take part in the meeting of the CSTO statutory bodies (foreign ministers, the Council of Defence Ministers, the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Council), as well as the meeting of the Collective Security Council, which will be held in Dushanbe.
