The "Warrior of Peace" competition has started in Armenia

Greeting the participants of the competition, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan noted in his speech. “I am sure that during the competition the teams will show professionalism, a high level of combat, tactical and professional training. The contestants are the best, they have gone through a difficult path of preliminary selection, earning the honor of representing the armed forces of their countries in a fair fight. The “Warrior of Peace” competition will become a real celebration of military brotherhood and courage and will contribute to strengthening international military cooperation. "
Lieutenant General Davtyan added that the international army games are exclusively peaceful in nature, there is no place for politics and contradictions, and the best place to compete with each other is sports events.
The solemn event ended with the performance of song and dance ensembles.
Representatives of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Hellenic Republic and the State of Qatar take part in the "Warrior of Peace-2021" competition.
The “Warrior of Peace” international competition of military professional skills of military personnel is held within the framework of the International Army Games tournament by the decision of the Council of Defence Ministers of the CIS member states and in accordance with plans for bilateral cooperation between the RF Ministry of Defence and the Defense Ministries of the CIS member states. For the fourth year in a row, the "Warrior of Peace" competition is held in the Republic of Armenia.
